Did anyone here see Rope?
It’s also with Jimmy Stewart and it’s Hitchcock.
I really like this film. The tension and weirdness is skin-crawling.
It says that no one really liked the outcome of the film, but I think it was ahead of its time. It’s a really good film.
The tension and weirdness are heightened by the use of the extended shot. I think there are only a handful of places where different shots are spliced together. Otherwise it’s just one continuous take.
Also, this film was shot with out any cuts, one long scene. Saw this in film class back in the day.
