Two sea otters wake up while others sleep on their backs off the coast of Moss Landing, California. A group of around 40 sea otters were snapped resting on their backs by wildlife photographer Michael Yang. He says: “While resting, each otter seems to have its own peculiar way of arranging its paws. Some otters put their paws on their chest, some cover their eyes, and some put their paws straight up as if they were signalling a touchdown.
